Intuitive, Intelligent, Innovative한 초음파, i-Series 출시

도시바 메디칼시스템즈 코리아는 퍼포먼스와 디자인을 모두 만족시키는 High-Premium라인 i-Series(800,700)를 한국 시장에 출시한다. 5월 26일(금)~27일(토) 양일간 코엑스에서 개최되는 대한초음파의학회 학술대회에 참가해 i-Series의 메인 장비인 i 800을 전시하고 국내외 교수진들에 직접 선보일 예정이다.

i-Series는 도시바 메디칼의 초음파 개발 50년 역사의 집약체라고 볼 수 있다. 그만큼 심혈을 기울인 장비로 전체 라인업 중 가장 프리미엄 라인이다. i-Series의 “I”는 “intuitive, intelligent, innovative”를 의미하며 이들 단어의 첫 자를 따서 만들었다.

처음 i-Series를 보면 느끼는 것은 단연코 파격적인 디자인. 단순한 심미적 기능을 넘어 사용자의 워크플로우를 고려해 인체공학적으로 설계되었다. 하이엔드 장비임에도 무게는 더욱 가벼워지고 장비의 폭은 줄어들었기 때문에 이동도 걱정 없다.

장비 본연의 Architecture는 크게 4 가지 - ① iBeam Forming(빔 송신) ② iBeam Slicing(빔 수신) ③ 멀티플렉싱 기술(Quad View) ④ 트랜스듀서(탐촉자) 기술 – 가 월등히 향상되었다. 빔을 주고 받는 방식이 완전히 새로워졌고 쿼드 뷰(Quad View)를 통해 모니터에 4개의 화면을 띄워 영상을 비교 • 분석할 수 있다. 새로 출시된 리니어 프로브(트랜스듀서)는 현존하는 프로브 중 가장 높은 주파수 영역대인 24MHz까지 검진할 수 있다.

장비 하드웨어의 핵심 기술력을 바탕으로 파워풀한 iPerformance(아이 퍼포먼스)를 구현할 수 있게 되었는데, iPerformance는 혁신적인 이미징 기술력, 임상 기술력을 의미한다. 가장 대표적인 것은 Shear Wave Elastography. 기존에 Propagation Map, Variance Map이라는 지표로 검진의 진단을 도왔는데, 여기에 MAD(Measurement Area Detection) 지표가 또 하나 추가되었다. 이로써 더 정확한 진단을 가능케 하는 강력한 툴이 완성되었다.

한편, 도시바 메디칼시스템즈 코리아는 5월 27일(토), 코엑스 그랜드볼룸 103호에서 런천 심포지엄을 개최한다.
